2nd Annual Shueyville Open
Disc Golf Tournament
Pro Disc Earth

When: Sunday Aug, 28th
Time: 9:00 registration - 9:30 Tee time
Where: Shuey’s Restaurant and Lounge in Shueyville IA
Entry Fee: $15

• 2 rounds of 18 played in Shueyville on temporary 18 hole course

• Flighted after 1st round

• Trophies, Prizes & Cash Payouts

• CTP (closest to pin) prizes

• All ages welcome

• Map of course will be provided

• Discs may be borrowed or purchased on site from Pro Disc Earth if needed, contact tournament director Shane Thirtyacre before tournament begins

• Food & Drink specials available

• Entry to tournament gets you wrist band for Blues Festival after tournament at Shuey’s

Definitely! Then again, it is hard to screw up when you combine safari, hole 1 at a bar (not to mention mini bars every few holes), low entry, non sanctioned and tons of prizes.

Sounds interesting. Can you guys compare the course to any others to get a visual of what to expect?

I don't think you can compare it to anything. Most holes were short when there were 9-12 holes (don't remember how many). So with 18 I don't think there will be too many long holes. We basically played through a neighborhood, across driveways, through back yards and around houses. It was a unique tournament and you can't say that too often. Mostly just a good time, it did not seem super competitive.

It's even better than Madrid. I'm sure there will also be beer, bloody's and drinks for sale on the course. More of the town got on board this year so there will more yards to play through than last year.

Good thing the Rents only live about a 1/2 mile down the road ....... Gonna try and make it to this one this year!!
