7 to 8 would be a good one.

Tanner, the pros will play West Lake, Middle, then West Lake.

And from the sounds of things, it sounds like everyone wants to play the longs at Eastern. I'm all for switching if that's what people are demanding (minus Greenwood). I'm really not a fan of playing "some long and some short." That's too confusing, especially when the Intermediates and mens adv masters will play both sets of tees. I'm not going to have three configurations out there. It's either short or long. Everyone knows I prefer the longs, but Mike doesn't know if there is going to be cement by Mother's Day out there.

But I'm still not set in stone on this subject at this point. I like the discussion both for and against.

Isn't that an Eric Clapton song? "Sack up Sally, and rest here in my arms..." wait... maybe not.

If it is, I hope he plays it when he comes to town, as I will be there.

7 from the longs, 16 from the longs, use 19.

You won't regret it. I've seen him three times (first time in '74 with the Doobie brothers). A very important part of music history.

Yeah, sometimes you go to see these old timers and they just don't have it anymore. EC is defenitely the exception. Last time he was at the Mark (summer of '02 I believe) he tore it up. He hasn't lost a step. With traveling for disc golf, it is hard to work concerts into the mix unfortunatley.

holy Chuckin' thread drift batman.

I don't care whether or not we play the longs at Eastern, but if you're gonna, there's plenty o time this spring to get Davenport to get the pads in by then. I'd think having a tournament of this magnitude would be a good selling point for you to ask for their help in accomplishing this.

I just think it's pretty shitty to have to play 20,000 feet (WL and Eastern) of golf with terrible (tee) footing.....at an A-tier. Just prepare yourself for the critics. You are wise to not have the pros even play Eastern, I'd already be able to hear them whining now.

You're right about the natural tees Jay...but I won't complain about Westlake.

Personally, Eastern from the Longs is not much fun unless MDR or Ken Jarvis are your doubles partners...however, if you can only throw 300 ft....it might be fun. I would put the players on cement wherever possible.

I got caught up on that one, too. Didn't spend to much time on it, though.
