"I'm not impressed with aces of any kind. 95% of the time, they're just bad shots that got lucky and happened to hit the chains. Otherwise, they'd have sailed 50' past the hole." ~ Cydisc

This looks great!

This may be the best small town course in the U.S.!

New cement T-pads will really help the course!

For a charity event, this has to be the best Ice Bowl value, ever.

Is the entry fee a donation, or part of a payout?

Pretty sure it's trophy only TD. He's giving $5 out of each entry for the pancake breakfast, part for a food pantry donation, then we get lunch (chili and a free 6 incher from Subway), an IceBowl 2007 disc, and then the trophy expense. He asked me if there's money left over if it's appropriate for that money to be used for course improvements, or payout, or what? I told him it's pretty much up to him, that the spirit of Ice Bowls is generally that it's for charity.

I'm sure Jed will clarify once he's made his decision.

Payout = Trophy 1st + prizes for top 3 in all divisions, No Cash, but plenty of freebies to negate cash payout for open players.

Who from Des Moines is planning to attend this event?

I will definitely be going and have room to take a couple of people with me.

It's going to be a pancake, chili and disc golf filled day!
Happy Discing!

The word is spreading; we have lots of oral commitments along with some pre-registration.

The snow is not too shabby when I played a round today. On average about 5”, only about 2” of powder on top of the hard packed stuff.

Make sure to come early to enjoy the great pancake breakfast with eggs and the works.
