I took off pretty quickly so this is the first I knew of the results. Congratulations guys. That's a nice comeback in singles. I know Chad is too humble to actually post this, but he was the only one to step up and take on a bet and he was rewarded for it.

Tanner, Wood, and Dan deserve a lot of credit for putting this thing together. I kept hearing about the prep work that went into this, but I don't think I realized how much they had done until gameday. Thanks for all the work guys.

I think we all look forward to next year's event at Westlake. I hope you guys really go big on next year's event. I'd love to see some matchplay.

Nice Work

Congrats to team Quad! I knew we didn't have the depth that the top 3 had but we gave it a solid finish and didn't finish DFL.

Thanks to everyone for their efforts in putting this event on. Look forward to next year and the extra two and half hour drive over to the QC's.

Hated to see you miss that 20 footer for the rest of the skins Chad H. Sounds like you still put money in your pocket no less 8)

Cheers,
Hophead

Excuse me!!!! I think you might want to talk to some of your Des Moines buddies and then refraise that. I believe there was someone else that put us over the field way before your bet ever came up.

Thanks to all that ran the rain festival Sunday. Congrats to the eastside team. I was lucky enough to play singles with Mike Robinson and Eddie McCulley. My arm was feeling quite inadequate after watching those two throw. Look forward to next year and getting 2nd again so we don't have to run the tournament.

I shot terrible golf all day....
I didn't make a putt outside of 20 ft. all day....
I had wet shoes for 10 hours....
I had wet socks for 10 hours....
I couldn't grip a disc for three rounds...

...and I had a blast! Very nicely ran, guys...thankyou!!!! The final safari was AWESOME, and such a cool way to mandate teamwork (thanks Doug, for the idea). Walking away with the trophy was spectacular, and having braggin' rights for another year is even better, being able to shove this in Tanner's and Dan's face might be the best....but havin' an odd sense of pride in your "disc golf team" was an unexpected suprise...and I'll be the sappy one to say that it rocked. Good shootin' QC!

Despite the weather, that was a lot of fun. That was quite a battle in the singles round, Jeremy. After you won the 5 skins on hole 9, I honestly thought you had the skins point, but I guess it didnt matter in the end. Congrats QC, you guys deserved it!

Thanks to all that came and made it happen. Without the teams, it wouldn't of happened. Funny how the shittiest tournament day of the year would've gotten a turnout of say.....nil to 15, but people came together all in the name of their teams to play. Good stuff.

Thanks again to Chase and Iron Lion for donating 3 CTP items! Thanks Chase and Jess!

Also to Shane and ProFlight Discs for donating some items for the dubs round.

Thanks also to Gabe Leuders for making a sweet trophy that will hopefully be coveted for years to come. I believe Chase has it on display at Iron Lion, stop in and check it out.
