PDGA SANCTIONED B-TIER EVENT!! ITS OFFICIAL!!

Iron Lion DGS is proud to announce Healing Hands Wellness Center as the Title sponsor for this event!

Saturday will be a fun field day event with games such as: Putting Contest, Long Drive Challenge, SkillShot Challenge and Accuracy! ( Maybe even some mini-golf. Who knows! ) All of which will take place at Eastern Avenue Park following an instructional clinic! There will also be either Doubles or Triples at Eastern later in the afternoon!

Also Saturday will be a FREE Players Party thanks to our sponsors!

Sunday will start tournament play, 2 rounds/ 2 different states! Prospect Park in Moline, IL for 18 / Eastern Avenue in Davenport, IA for 18 more!

..........................................................................................................

>>>>>>>>> 2 Rounds of 18 holes <<<<<<<<<<<<

ALL PRO DIVISIONS: 60$ ( Includes ALL fees, including ACE fund )

ALL ADVANCED : 40$ ( Includes ALL fees, including ACE fund )

ALL INTERMEDIATE: 30$ ( Includes ALL fees, including ACE fund )

2 Rounds of PDGA Sanctioned tournament golf. As a special bonus, the Dispatch/ Argus is going to pick up the tab for any non-PDGA members to play this event! ( $5 savings! ) In other words: THERE WILL BE NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR NON-PDGA MEMEBERS. WE WANT EVERYBODY HERE, NOT JUST PDGA MEMBERS!

TOURNAMENT PLAY will begin on SUNDAY. Field events are scheduled for Saturday and are for fun. All will cost $5 per entry and there will be 100% payback in cash.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION will begin later this week, as will MAIL- IN and WALK-IN. I strongly suggest PRE-REG in PRO, as there will be AT LEAST $1750.00 in the PRO purse. We have over $1000 in ADDED CASH already.

We are also working on another STRONG Players Package for the Am division! PRE-REG, as its first come first serve!

This event will see major advertising, and if needed we will use both courses at the same time. I hope to need both!

Any questions about registration, directions or any thing else call Chase at Iron Lion Disc Golf Supply, 1-309-757-7685, between 10am-6pm. Or email me: chase20460@ironliondgs.com

More info daily! Get ready!

Prospects paths. Good question. Im not totally sure yet, as we have to make some minor changes there already to help flow. I can promise you the on and across route isnt going to happen, as there isnt enough time in the day for it on every hole.

More than likely, there will be specific OB on holes, but not general. Whatever we decide will be in the handbook youll recieve in your players package. Right now, my feelings are no gravel path OB. That may change though, and others have say in it as well.

Chase I was working at Aarons when the guy from the Argus came in to ask about sponsoring the event. He told us how huge this tourney is and that you had a lot to do with it. Chase you should be commended on all the hard work you do to better the sport of disc golf. Putting together a huge tourney in this area is exactly what we need. Thanks Chase for all that you do.

Thanks, really, but theres alot more hard- workers on this thing than me. I was very pleased when they told me Aarons was on board, and its another sponsor We will work our ass off to impress enough for next year. Thats my goal, to make all the parties involved feel like they spent thier money wisely, and for everyone ( sponsors and players ) to want to be apart of an event double the size next season.

The real people that make things happen are players and sponsors. Without the support of either, Id be there by myself. Not alot of fun!

And actually, a lot of this has been made possible by Chad Eng and the West Lake tournament. It generated so much talk, both locally and abroad, that people really want to come here to play and the area business are really showing alot of support. Those are the people that should be getting thanked. Thanks, though, I appreciate the comments!

Nor can I, although I wont be playing...in this one. I will have a detailed schedule of events and a list of our sponsors up in a few days, at the most. Please visit our sponsors whenever possible, and thank them for participating in our sport and helping to bring it to the masses.

Thanks Jessica for making the on-line registration possible. :D
