Stiers --- you da man!!!

How about Sat. June 23 to do some work @ Shaver?

Would like to see Dev, Bitch'n, or some of the other local guys who usually work on the course. I don't really want to start hacking out branches and have some locals ask me what the hell I"m doing. Shaver is not my course (well, none of the courses are mine, but with Turkey, Sugar, or Peninsula I have some authority to cut down trees -- not so in CR).

I'll mention it to bitchn this weekend at wildcat. Any body got a skidloader we could move chips with? That would make it go faster.

We need to set a time when we can walk through the course and see what needs to be trimmed. What looks like trimming to one is another persons advantage. We want to be fair but not take some of the risk away. I would love to sink a 20 ft pole on the new right hand fairway of number six to close that off also.

Please pm me on any changes or trimming and I will keep a list. Please don't start anything right away.

my votes...
hole 14 - wood chips spread out and gone
hole 13 - huge dead tree on the left.
hole 5 - steps up to the "man pad"
wood chips \ steps up to 11 from 10
also another idea... how about adding a couple of holes between 18 and 1!!
there is definitely room. anybody talk to the city about that yet?

Hole #7 leveled tee pad and move so it actually points in the direction of the hole.

How about redoing 12 so it isn't in the way of 11. Then you could adjust 11.

where? 12's teepad is basically in the point of a corner. so that would have to move forward=lame. anyway 12's basket should be moved deep and to the left since that focker chopped down the tree right in front of the teepad

Something like that. The road to the left would be better but then the walkers would complain. The tee could even be on the other side of the main road and the basket up by the dead end near 13 pad.

I agree with Doug. Someone needs to set a time up.

I agree with Stiers also, 2 more holes.

More holes sounds great, but maybe we should be thinking more about short term goals (ie. lets get Shaver ready for the Corridor)

IMO the important things to get to would be:

    wood chip pile on 14
    trim right side of 14
cut out the small damaged/broken trees
    cut stumps of fairways
    clean up

I can't this weekend, I am playing my other habit. We can meet Thursday night if anyone is game. We probably should meet at Shaver and walk through it and make a list of things to do so everyone has it and can work on it as their time permits. This way we have a common goal and no one is off cutting their own path.
Also we should look at Legion and see what needs done. I know we need signs and three more poles in the ground for signs (15,16,17). We need to discuss what the pins sittings will be.
I am going to bed, I have a game tomorrow.
