Tee Pads

Tee Pads

Postby AO » Sat Dec 13, 2008 10:35 pm

I was thinking about playing in Iowa City tomorrow but I am wondering if tee pads are cleared at any of the courses. Would anyone happen to know?

Front 11 red pads at the Pen are playable, and as warm as it was Saturday the Blues aren't probably too far off either. Don't know about the other courses.

It was nice to get out and play today. To bad it went from 47 to below 30 in a half hour.

I'll never get used to playing disc golf in just two layered t-shirts to being in a -7 wind chill in just hours. At 1pm it felt like late April.

Someone did a TON of work on tee pads at Penninsula on holes 13, 14, and 16. Thanks! Course looks like someone has been working there.

Credit Harper and jnecessary for a lot of that. Also the city came in and moved around tons of sand.

yourself and Luke as well, sweet path on 10 :)

still a lot to be done out there but there has been more and more foot traffic lately and that helps with keeping some of the growth down, would be great if enough people play it next spring to stunt the growth of the nettles near fairways
