Turkey Temporarily Closed

Postby cmlasley » Tue Jun 17, 2008 8:38 am

After a week of sandbagging, I finally got a chance to go play last night . . . only to find the gates closed and the baskets pulled at Turkey Creek. I tracked down the Ranger and he said they had too many people parking up there and then sneaking down through the woods to the dam. He didn't know when it would re-open.

Looks like we'll play some object courses for a bit.

Any thoughts on when any of the IC courses will be open again?

She also told us that they werent sure when they would re-open it (Turkey) but to check back when the water level goes below the spillway...

the water is projected to drop below the spillway about a week from now,
and i would guess sugar bottom may take longer to open,
as for peninsula... forget it
