He would be a fool to stay in Cleveland now. No state-income tax in Florida? Sign me up for that alone.

Cowherd reported yesterday morning that it definitely wasn't Cleveland which was huge news in itself. If he goes to Miami, do you guys think they can rattle off 5 in a row?

Do people think it will actually work in Miami? I think that they can work it out to win a title down the road, I don't think they will go 0'fer. But they have no one but those 3 on their team and won't have cap space to sign anyone -- plus the added pressure that everyone will say they are a failure if they don't win the title next year. I think you still need a complete team of 5 guys plus key subs to win a title.

If it were 3 random talents I might agree with you, but these are not only 3 great players they seem like 3 great people. LeBron only became the scorer that he did because he didn't have anyone else in Cleveland. Not sure who said it, but he's not Michael Jordan, he's Magic Johnson. And I think Wade and Bosh will be selfless. It's not like they need stats for a big contract down the road. Bob Ryan said yesterday that he won't doubt it again after he was critical of the big 3 in Boston and that worked out pretty well. Plus you have Pat Riley putting this together, and some veteran free agents will see an auto-title and play there on the cheap.

That might've been funny if they had a team.

Ok if Chalmers turns out like Rondo then yes I agree it can work. Is Miami's second round pick a Perkins type player? I think this group can easily reach the conference finals every year, but they will need a PG and Center to step up and play OK for them to win. It won't take much but having a team full of second rounders will not cut it in the Finals.

Miami had a STEAL in the second round with Dexter Pittman out of Texas. Dude is a straight up beast and will only get bigger, stronger, and better. But, that being said, Miami will NOT win a title with these three (if Lebron does go there).
