2010 World Cup

Postby SARG27044 » Fri Jun 11, 2010 7:27 am

I used to play when I was younger, but havent really been interested in it since. But I do enjoy watching the World Cup for some reason. Anyone know what time the U.S.-England match is? And if it's televised?

I don't know who's carrying it. I don't think FSC has any of the matches. Maybe one of the ESPNs.

EDIT: apparently, ESPN3 is streaming on their website. That's all I got.

I always get World Cup fever when it rolls around. I hate watching the US team play unless they were to get to the later rounds. Spain, Argentina, Portugal, and of course Brazil are the good teams to watch.

I hear ya. I cant watch MLS, but the World Cup is great. When I used to work downtown they had it on all day on the big screen. Shit is fun.

The city of LA has world cup fever for sure...people at my office will spend the next month watching games over lunch...currently though...Laker fever is taking priority

It's crazy watching the games. It's a tradition for South Africa to blow horns. Sounds like a giant beehive during the telecast.

Yeah its pretty awesome, each country (other than the US) has their own chants, different countries have different horns, cowbells, celebrations, hairstyles...
