ask The Saints about that

- Jordan on the cover 49 times ...... he did quite well
- Vince Young was on the cover twice during Texas' National Championship run.
- The aforementioned Drew Brees Super Bowl Win

"Of the 2,456 covers SI had run, 913 featured a person who, or team that, suffered some verifiable misfortune that conformed to our definition -- a Jinx rate of 37.2%. The majority of those instances (52.7%) were bad losses or lousy performances by a team, followed by declines in individual performance (44.6%), bad loss or lousy performance by an individual (25.2%), postseason failure (13.4%), injury or death (11.8%) and blunder or bad play (4.6%)."

I'm not worried about it. Even if it does come true and Ali has an off game no worries, this team has been down this road a lot this season. They can win in about 10 different ways, any one of the 10 players that play can go off any given night. Kwadzo has been off for a couple of games, last time that happened he went off for 24.
"I'm not impressed with aces of any kind. 95% of the time, they're just bad shots that got lucky and happened to hit the chains. Otherwise, they'd have sailed 50' past the hole." ~ Cydisc

That's why I don't put much stock in it as a curse .......

The Madden Curse on the other hand is fool proof

Here's the winning bracket from an autistic kid that the guys @ work were talking about... He's PERFECT so far. So, autistic, AND clairvoyant?

I do think Kentucky qualifies as a #1 seed.

But, besides the Purdue picks I could definitely see it working out this way, with Kentucky taking it all.

After sitting at the bottom of the pool the entire tournament, if Duke wins it all I still have a shot at second place.
