Anyone else wonder why Greene hasn't been the starter all season? Either way the Colts are going to roll over the Jets. The colts D is somewhat like Norm Parkers "Bend don't break" except the Colts have speed. Plus Peyton will still have 300 yards even with the Jets having Reevis. Manning was 14/21 with 200 yards in not even 3 quarters when they played week 16. This game will be similar to the Colts game last week against the Ravens. Colts win 24-13

Thomas Jones was the third leading rusher in the NFL this year.

Greene hasn't been starting all year because he needed to learn the playbook, and come on - its got to take time to develop and gel w/ the team, etc. They've found 'the spot' for him now!

Isn't that what camp and preseason is for? Yeah Thomas Jones was the 3rd leading rusher... with a 4 yard average. Not many teams give a guy 20+ carries a game. So of course he was the 3rd leading rusher. Shonn Greene showed what he's doing now early in the season and it was overlooked. Give the guy the ball and he'll get you 5 yards.

well I'd think that's what camp & preseason are for - for veterans. As a rookie it's GOT to take longer than that. (they don't call em rookies for nuttin, afterall)

Shonn was dinged up to start the season and was also frustrated with his role. Bart Scott told him and everyone else who would listen, be patient, the time will come and he'll be winning games for us late in the season. He did exactly that.
