Penn , Sanchez should be a great fight. If Penn is in shape he will be hard to beat.

Anyone from DSM going to the Fight tonight ...... MCC23 Thanksgiving Throwdown

I'm thinking about going and looking for anyone interested in going as well.

I would but I'm leaving town after work. We should hit them up sometime this winter.

The fights at MCC were pretty good. Most of the under cards were better fights as the title bouts didn't make it past round 2. However there were some great fighters in title bouts. Demetrius Richards was solid submitting Jesse Lund in the first round. He attributed his win to a recent loss to Grigsby. Grigsby then got in the ring and hinted at a return to MCC for a title fight. The main event was Mike Van Meeter vs Elvis Mutapcic. Van Meer looks like blob but the dude is a machine and tough as nails. Elvis is a great striker. The fight should have been great but Van Meer pulled a hamy during a strike in the second round and went to the mat and then got punished and the ref called it. Over all the MCC production is pretty good for being a minor MMA outfit. I will def be back. Also there was a bunch of fighters from Creston and they all were solid, they must have a good camp down there.

Van Meer knocked my cousin out in the 5th round of their title fight last year. Tough dude.

UFC 107 was great. Better than the last 2 and way better than 108 could hope to be.

Damn Florian looked good against The Energizer Bunny. Too bad he couldn't hang with BJ. At this point I don't know who can even come close at 155lbs.

They just signed Gomi, but BJ handled him a few years ago, when he wasn't training like a freak. The answer is, he's going to fight GSP next year probably.

Philips and I saw it. Square on right in front of me.

He was out when he hit the floor and the ref was scared to stop it. Dude took a shit ton of unnecessary shots. He didn't look in shape either. He's 35 and been through alot.
