Note, that I think Tanner brought up this guy b/c of his DG success - but it sounds like he's a grad assistant for the MU Tigers.

Hawks qualified all 10 wrestlers for nationals next week. They looked strong most of the big ten tourney by placing six in the championship matches but only came away with 2 champs. The Metcalf loss stings but nationals is where it really matters.

Not sure if Morningstar will even wrestle at nationals since he got injured in his 3rd place match and was on crutches after... really doesnt look good.
Holy shit we got a psycho in league! Don't piss that kid off!

Hawks dominate again this year and win by 44.5 points with 3 champs (shoulda been 4), Omaha was sweet since 1/4 of the arena was hawk fans.

Sucks losin 7 seniors on this years team but McDonough looks like he could be the next Metcalf, it'll be awesome to watch him the next 3 years

Absolute props to the predicted State Champ that refused to wrestle that bitch who thought she was better than the sport in the Iowa State Wrestling yesterday...glad im a sports studies major and my professors agreed with me that they just cannot belong in these type of sports...

it made sportcenter last night as well. I have had to wrestle girls in the 15 years i wrestled but none in high school. they just cant match up physicly to nearly any guys in the sport. and how do you qualify for the state tournament with a 20 and 13 record?

20 wins is nothing to look down on, but as I remember every year at state there would always be a few wrestlers with a records closer to 50-50 than that ( Note: they were not from our disctict ). We always seem to leave alot of good wrestlers (some former state placers) who finish 3rd at disctrics and don't make it back to state.

Anyway I think I read that guy was like 35-3! I hope he takes home 3rd then.
