Must make the masses feel better to say Mizzou was scurred

Jay, I didn't know! Wow! Seriously though. During the Rose bowl or following season was when they backed out. Mizzou was in the dumps @ the time. I truly believe that is why they backed out, however no one would have known the flip-flop that the teams did. Just think. Mizzou would have had a tougher warm up game early on - and been better for a Nat'l Champ run if they were playing us this year. Last year they would have killed us, this year it would have been a good game (hopefully, assuming that my view of the team so far this year is right).

Chokers? No... Rough year last year? Definitely... Will we bounce back? I assumed not for a while after last season, but so far it's looked promising. Let's just wait n see, k?

I honestly cannot remember being as upset about a game as this.

it seems like we're playing to "not lose". A "w" doesn't even seem to be on anybody's mind.

Ironic that the only person in the state that doesn't know Christensen sucks happens to be the Head Coach of the Football Team.

Maybe we should just let this thread die a quiet death.

Illinois' top running back is taking a leave of absence from the team... making it unsure if he will play Saturday.

I hope he stays out so Iowa can shut down Ford all day long and give him a taste of what he missed.

I bet there are a lot of hung over people in Iowa City today  I only saw the last 5 minutes of the game, but it was a good five minutes.
