That game WAS awesome... (tx) I got to watch @ the Chicken Coop in DSM. Rawk!

Seeing the hawks lose to ILL was rough this weekend, but it was a decent game, not perfect, but not terrible. Wish it had been better for Greene's career's sake, but I can't complain too bad.

I'd call it terrible...
6 sacks...
9 pts in 4 red zone tries in the first half...
3 turnovers by Stanzi (one leading to a automatic TD)...
blown coverage leading to a 50 yd TD pass for ILL...
that last defensive series for Iowa (if you can call that defense)...
and 4 losses this year by 12 Chucking points!!!!!!!!

ALL TERRIBLE

Bout time for wrestling season.

yikes! Simmer down, chief. It's the big 10, it's a slight rival school, an up-n-coming program, etc... It's par for my expectations this year, frankly. Even though we've been up the last couple weeks it doesn't mean we can't be only kind of up for that week. It sucks, but obviously I must have missed plenty since I was working @ scheels.

Im a hardcore hawk fan so i dont like it when they lose, especially when 4 games are decided by 12 pts and they were all winable.

But hey at least they are consistent at one thing... getting arrested!

All I have to say is 4 redzone appearances in the first half with 9 points to show for it is not going to get you very far in any conference these days. They really need to work on there redzone playcalling or somthing. I about lost it when KOK called play action on first and goal at the 10. At least I dont have any expectations going into PSU so if we lose it is expected.

Yea and even if we somehow managed to win, that would be the excuse the rest of the nation needs to say how weak the big ten is if PSU lost.

Perhaps because the Big 10 is that weak?

Yessir, highly overrated. Simply cannot compete with the talent of the SEC. See Ohio St. vs. Florida last year.

I'd still put the Big Ten number 3 among major conferences. So I don't think the Big Ten is weak at all, just not the caliber of conference the Big 12 and SEC are right now.

1. Big 12
2. SEC
3. Big Ten
4. Pac 10
5. Big East
6. ACC

Yeah the Big Ten isnt weak when compared to all of the conferences. Its Just that the SEC and the Big 12 are way ahead of everyone else.

Go to the three minute mark and watch the receiver get destroyed.
