I think thats somewhat of an understatement! :D

hottest olympian in years

You obviously haven't seen the javelin thrower from Paraguay. She's been all over yahoo news since the opening ceremonies...

Not an olympian, but hot as hell.

I'll stick with Paraguay :D

First of all, wow. Viva la Paraguay!

Secondly, nice to see a PDGA member in the Olympics.

Ben Askren finshed 7th in the 74kg freestyle wrestling event. I know Ben expected to win a medal, but he's still pretty inexperienced in international competition, after being the two-time Dan Hodge Award winner (national college wrestler of the year) the last 2 years at Mizzou. People know him for the long frizzy hair, but he's a fun, pretty cool cat.

Figured it probably was. No way a crowd could keep such a perfect cube around a real fight.
If it kills, I got news, it ain't a side effect

Stat-lovers, check this out. The all-time best performances in Track & Field:
http://www.alltime-athletics.com/men.htm

Note the 200m. 19.30 and 19.32, obviously. But the next fastest EVER by ANYBODY (including Bolt and Johnson)? 19.62! Only 10 times EVER under 19.70. That just shows how insane the 30 and 32 were.

the age debate is back. Now the IOC is investigating further. Anybody's opinion change now that their backs aren't turned? Can you imagine all the medals the US will slip up into if they strip these children of their medals?!

ok, using the inter-toobs, I answered my own question...the only sports with age restrictions are gymnastics and figure skating.

To answer your question Tyler, the age restrictions aren't imposed by the IOC they are imposed by the International Gynmastics Federation...and whatever organization that oversees figure skating.
