Um because it is not football and they have like three major fight cards a year. More like boxing in a way maybe you should watch it then you would understand that it is not a super bowl at all.

How can they crown a champion if the name of the event doesn't have the word super in it? And why has UFC been going on for 87 years without my knowledge?

They have a UFC every month. There's 2 in October.

They new years card and super bowl card are supposed to have some mega fights. They're looking to break into the US mainstream in 2009 with these events.

In 10 years they believe MMA will be bigger (worldwide) than the NFL. I think there's a good possibility of that happening.

So they do the MMA super bowl during the NFL super bowl? Or at halftime? Is that more risky than Janet's bouncing boobies? That turns me on?

Whoa...it's a sad day for the UFC and his family, I always found inspiration in watching him fight and his training. He had a great storied life.

I know I've taken off on some hikes, it's no joke being only a couple miles from your car sometimes.
