I wonder if the AP poll will crown co-champions... there was talk of that before the game with either USC or Georgia.

Nvm, I guess they voted LSU #1 too.

I agree with Steve that this was the worst BCS ever. They won't solve anything with a plus-one model either because then at least a few teams will be complaining that they shoulda been included in the top 4 seeds.
I'm just glad the season is over... good regular season, worst bowl season ever.

Made a small fortune betting on LSU. Did anyone really think OSU had a chance?? I started laughing when OSU scored quickly like last year, only to get blown out again, there was never a doubt in my mind LSU would win big. SEC will always pwn the Big 10.
I speak my mind, cuz bitin' my tongue hurts

I still don't think the SEC will always pwn the B10. Not asking for an argument, but I still believe it's just not possible. LOL

I was just humbly & quietly hoping that OSU would show up bigger than they did. :x

Imagine this:

I wonder if we'll ever see it happen. Pretty hilarious tho that the prez of the college that thinks they got shafted is pushing for it.

Seems like the same kind of talk that is voiced after every BCS in one form or another. It will still never change. Like the prez said it's the tv corps and sponsors that have more power than the colleges unfortunately.

yup, only way it's gonna happen is if a nationwide boycott of the BCS games occurs. That is, nobody goes to the games. How friggin' hilarious would that be? Everybody's watching the game on TV, and the stands are empty, except for a few corporate scabs and media personnel.

The Rose bowl has a contract running through 2013 with either the Big Ten and Pac-10 or the tv network, I forget which, but that is only one of many obstacles in the way. The BCS and Fox's contract run through 2010 so they will probably be looking to renew that soon also.

Corporate scabs  Good verbiage. Your right boycott is the only way. However, even if it were to happen, Hawkeye and Cornhusker fans would still go their respected bowl games  Only death itself would keep these fans from going.
