Gumbputt or Blowfly

Postby IowaCharlie » Thu Jul 26, 2007 8:45 pm

A friend of mine has a gumbputt, and I recently bought a blowflyII, but I cannot get the hang of this disc. It seems to have completely different flight characteristics than the gumbputt.

had one but traded it in to play it again, i just threw it for a hill putter cause it doesnt roll but threw it as a loft putt and it would catch the chains really good. slight hyzer and it will fly perfect.

They were popular with the long-timers in Phoenix because the desert sun makes them flimsy. When your putt is low it sticks into the cage. One little putt-zing with your wrist and these discs glide slow, long, and straight. I have a hard time with the feel of them, so these are just my observations of others.

Like today's Shot of the Day on DGTV... except they don't fall out.
