Camden II

Postby Lou Siffer » Fri Oct 05, 2007 9:31 am

Just wanted to keep you up to date and let you know that the ball is starting to roll on this.

Milan Parks Director, Dave Panel, is eager to get started on the project so we're in the process of finalizing the design.

Chad Eng, K.C. Randall, Reed & RJ McDaniel, Chase, and myself walked a good portion of the new course last night, and made some minor adjustments to the positions Reed and PK had put in from the map they had (thanks go out to Reed & PK for going out on their own to do this work).

Let me tell you, this is going to be one sweet course. All in the woods (except one hole) with substantial length, tight lines, and some righteous use of elevation.

There's a lot of work to be done, though, so get ready to put your time in. Then, when someone says: "This course is AWESOME!", you can say, "Yeah, I helped put it in".

Fantastic, you're both in!

Just talked with your brother, Tyler, via email. Now we've got two families with three brothers. The Oostendorps and the Dodds.

just don't give phil a chainsaw. He only likes open holes. I'd hate to come home this spring to see that other side of the park looking like eastern avenue.

Camden II has got some nasty slopes!

I have a solution - used rubbers:

I wonder if anyone can name the course where these pictures were taken? Hint: Peoria area.

I believe the design is still being finalized. Should be pretty close to ready for clearing, though. Paul?

I will put you at the top of the call list, Clayton.

It is wrapping up nicely, but with my Grandfathers passing this morning, and my work sending me to Chicago next Tuesday, I am not sure what my availability will be.
