Adopt-A-Pad Donations

Adopt-A-Pad Donations

Postby Budhyzer 17696 » Mon Sep 16, 2013 9:34 am

A while back I mentioned an idea about a possible way to raise money for concrete pads at Wildcat Bluff, via an adopt a pads donation. It garnered a great response from many individuals wanting to help us out. Since then, I've did some research and now have the info needed to move forward. Each adopt-a-pad donation will be $70.00. This will cover the cost of the concrete for one pad at 4' X 12' long. If you would like to help us out, you can mail a check to:

Steve Hepker
441 Owen St NW
Cedar Rapids, IA 52405

Steve will be flipping the bill for the concrete and the checks will go directly back into his account.

The crew appreciates the support we get from the disc golf community. We hope you all enjoy the improvements we make to the course. Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Thanks from the crew!

PS - We are going ahead with concrete on pads #1, 1B, 10 and 18 in a couple weeks. This may be all we do for this year, time and resources will dictate.

I forgot to mention that the names of the people/groups that donate will be listed, for all to see, on the kiosk board at the first tee in recognition of their generousity.

Thanks AO! If you're playing the tourney you can bring it then or mail it, doesn't matter....I can meet you at the store too, whatever works best for you. Let us know if the donation is from you personally or via the store (or both  ) so we can give props where it is due.

Between the food donations and the Adopt-A-Pad donations received at the tournament, I'm happy to announce we have enough funds to complete the concrete pad project on the back 9. Thanks to Chase Roberts, Jason and Mike Steffen, Master Lee Cronkhite, Jay Greenwood and Nate Mickelson for your generosity!
If the weather holds, we may be able to get them poured this year. If not, we'll get to them in the spring.
There are 14 pads on the front we will work on next year. If you haven't donated yet and would like to, you can help out with a donation for those.

Thanks again everyone for your continued support!!
