See "Map & Scorecard" topic for all the hole lengths including the back nine.

My buddy Rob threw in for 2 on hole 11 in the middle position. Pretty nice eagle.

I will be interested to see how many people ever drive the hole or park it. Super tight woods and long. It would be tough to call it a par 3 if it rarely or hardly will ever be scored a 2. Rob went buzzz of the tee, buzzz 2nd shot throw in. Just like hole 17 in the middle placement. Borderline par 3/4. I just happened to have one of my maybe top ten drives in my life on that hole being only 2 feet away.

We've struggled with the par thing.
First we think " man, tough hole; it should be a par 4".
Then we think " but we play most courses as par 3 no matter what the hole lengths." IE: Jones old #3 - Sugarbottom #18
This is why the back nine signs do not have a par on them.
We've left it up to the person(s) playing.

I think Disc Golf pars are starting to advancing toward ball golf pars.
I think a good long hole, such as Wildcat #4B, #6C or #14B/C should be a par 4.
If you have a good drive and good second shot, you should be rewarded with a 3 of birdie. If you do not excecute, it's still tough to get a par 4.
I'm not sure #11B fits into this catagory, but #11C definately would.
#17C also.

I agree. I do think 14C will be crazy and probably a really tough 3, a challenging 4, and a manageable 5. That is just my feeling. I can't wait to play it in the long position as well as 11 in the long. 17C is a tough bitch as well.

You're right on #14C, don't know what I was thinking!
#17 long positions play a little shorter due to being all down hill.
They are still tough though.

I'm sure once all the snow is gone, we'll get the C placements in on #11 & #14.
They will be in place for the second round of the tourney I'm sure.

It would be interesting to see what a round from the longest holes would score. I'd probably say 60 is par, if counting the new long 8 pad. We rarely do singles, but I would like to get some pro level players to see what they can do. With this being the 1st full season I'd like to hear what the best scores are. It won't be in the longs all the time but we can have a mini or something and do short and long layouts. We'll make sure someone with a key is there.
