Pin locations

Postby hyzerman16234 » Fri Feb 01, 2008 4:23 pm

As of today the pins that are other than A are: #4B, 6C, 11B, 14B, and 17B. The snow is crusty and shallow so there's no need for spotters. We'll be out again tomorrow.

I checked the B placement last Sunday and it was still too frozen at the depth needed to fit.
I think we may have to fix that one somehow; maybe redo it.

All holes are in C that can be. Everything else is B except 7. Birdies will be hard to come by. We worked on 11 yesterday, so it's a little cleaner. Should have the rest of the spring work done in the next 2 weekends.

I cleaned the entire right side of #4 yesterday.
There's not much of a route on that side but it will definately help if you happen to end up there.
(You have more breathing room for you approach (second) shot)

Going there now to play two rounds. I guess we will see what kind of round can be produced. Probably as good as it gets because when the trees fill in, it is going to be really tough in the layout it is in now.

56 1st round from A pads. 60 2nd round from B pads. Back is definately more defined and "fair." I hit a few sapplings on the front each round and was kind of getting frustrated. Tony shot a 72 the 1st round and 61 the 2nd. He was missing the line the 1st round and it was kind of funny to watch. Off the fairway= a tone of trouble.

Nice rounds Adam.
Let me know the names of those sapplings and we'll see what we can do.

Let Tony know he is in the majority.

Maybe get some input when Frogs tourney is there. Sprague is coming and he has done a lot of course designs and building so he could give some quality ideas.

The pins are in A for the odd holes, and B for the even ones. :D

The course is in the layout that will be the 1st round Doubles setup. Got $24 or so in returnables out of the cans today. I'll put the money to good use. If everyone could please make sure they are empty it would be appreciated. The baby diaper was a bit of a surprise too! :o
