I have never had a computer start and be in Windows in about 15 seconds. I like it.

that's awesome! I have my cheap AMD Phenom II OC'ed from 2.8 to 3.75 right now..it's getting the job done :P

No overclocking for me; just straight kick ass. Plus, I don't know how to overclock it and don't think I need to at this time.

looks liek that's the 64-bit version... You'll need to make sure your CPU can run it... :-(

yes sir, finally putting my quad core and 4Gb memory to full use.

I was expecting to have to choose 32 or 64, I thought I read the box versions have both. Maybe ultimate is only 64? Or this implementation only has the one.

Indeed, I don't know of any processors that have come out in the last few years that does not support 64-bit architecture! Even processors that date back 6 years ago have this technology. The bandwidth is just phenomenal.

BTW, Irban, just picked up the discs, exactly as shown :D

LOL, I'm running an overclocked, 3.7 single core AMD Athlon, 4GB RAM, and 1.75TB space. Still runs most games just fine, but it's definitely an x86 CPU.

Oh, i guess it can run 64 bit apps...

Either way, I needed the upgrade for Blu-Ray support, and for Battlefield: Bad Company2. Oh, and I'm planning on building a RAID5 array for my movies. My new MB will support it, so I (pray) hope I can load up at least 4 drives to handle the new Blu Ray images I'll be doing. (40GB vs 9GB for dvd)

If you are doing a lot of writing, I would not be inclined to use Raid 5 config. Raid 1+0 makes more sense in that fashion. Raid 5 is definitely an amazing setup, but drive failure is so high in any Raid without a properly equipped controller to handle the throughput; and should have a decent cache of 256 mb. A controller of such specs would cost like $250. Otherwise, your southbridge is going to bottleneck like crazy.
