Windows 7 Ultimate for 1 good disc

Postby anubis080 » Sun Feb 21, 2010 1:49 pm

I have a master copy of Windows 7 Ultimate *edit 64-bit* (meaning I can put it on as many pc's as I want, legitimately) It upgrades, or just does a whole new operating system.

Normally costs $200. Since I just have this laying around, it's not really doing me much good. So, if anyone wants to upgrade their PC for 1 good disc (i.e star, champ, z, esp) let me know. I'll install everything if you are not comfortable doing so. Time for installation varies based on size and use of Hard Drive.

Discs I like or want to try:
Stalkers
Wizards
Teebirds
Nukes
Buzzzes
Forces
Focus
Flash

I personally do not mind used discs if they don't have too much wear on them (usually an 8/10 or better). I'll PM you for more details.

Other people can still ask for trades, I have plenty more uses of it!

I would be interested, but am in DM. Not sure how we would work out the logistics. I'm upgrading for sure, but planned to just get home premium for the cost. Worth the added money to go professional or Ultimate?

I dowloaded an ultimate OEM ISO, but not sure whether to trust it. Also, not too sure how the activation would work on this. Probably need a local, more nerdy than me, to talk me through it.

If you like mediacenter, virtual desktop etc, then Ultimate is the way to go. It's not like it is faster etc, just has more options. An OEM ISO could work, but you risk getting caught with a bad serial #.

I hate to sound like a buzzkill, but go with core I-5 if you haven't ordered already.

I have never had a computer start and be in Windows in about 15 seconds. I like it.
