I wouldnt say you have to have mad skills to be able to bomb the Inferno.
I've seen players with little or no skill throw this disc farther than anything they have ever thrown.
Yes players with more power need to learn a light hyzer release, maybe thats what big daddy is talking about.

Our sales of the inferno the last 2 weeks have been simply incredible.
The news about this disc has been traveling fast, even die hard innova guys are giving it some test flys.

The blend we put together is important to the flight as a fast disc like this one can be very sensitive to shape.
We hope to be able to put together a batch that is a little more firm on the wing without losing the perfect dome.
We will also be running some S at the end of the week, which has been requested several time already.

I think George Smith used it quite often this past weekend in Des Moines for his B-tier win at Walnut Ridge. He said there was a lot of people asking him about the disc.

Bottom line is the inferno is HOT HOT HOT!!!!

David- Is the Inferno a disc that can be run in the same plastic as the Elements? If not, why ?

Thanks!

I never said you had to have skills to throw the "INFERNO"....I was just shoot'n our local some sh!t....I have seen new-b's throw this disc farther than anything else....and touring players also have the same result, the disc is "BIG" and is a must in my bag.

Wow, that just goes to show that even though I never watch TV, I still watch too much TV.

I picked up a couple of these, and so far so good. However, I have to say that the proto discs felt different. Both of mine are close to max weight, but they have some nice flip right out of the box. It will be interesting to see how they fly when beat in or otherwise how the lighter ones will fly. Is the release plastic (E maybe?) pretty durable?
Seems like the Inferno is a home run type of disc. I wouldn't pull it out on a tight fairway, but on a wide open bomb hole I'm reaching for it before the wraith right now. Nice job gateway!

I finally got to try the Inferno out today and I loved it!!! I got a 168g out at Matzen Lake. It might be the disc to replace my Road Runner, not sure but it sure flew farther and with more predictability.

I was somewhat displeased with the plastic though.. Obviously, I don't throw very hard and after only one round at Camden it seemed to be pretty dinged up (I only threw it into a couple of trees :? )

Great Disc Dave..

From what I understand, the plastic that the proto infernos were run it (which is pretty much all of them) is a Quest plastic. I think they're trying to figure out a way to make it more resistant to damage without changing the flight of the disc too much.

I have been throwing a 170 white inferno since they were first released and I have found that once they reach a certain point they don't beat up as much and the disc gets some predictability.
