WORK DAY Sunday May 4th...

Postby peyton » Mon Apr 28, 2008 12:12 pm

We need as many people as possible. This is the only day I have to get this stuff done. I have 35 positions to put in anchors and 18 signs for each hole. I have one tee pad to build up and 4 more to frame. Not sure when the tee pads will be poured due to weekends booked. Shovels is all we need. I am going to try and get the holes drilled by automation but we will see. Thanks

I am going to call the city tomorrow and see if we can work something out. I would like to pick them up at the Lowe's or some place like that. I don't think anyone's vehicle could handle 50 some bags of crete. I will have the sleeve's out there and ready to go. See you then.

If things work out, I talked to the city and maybe will have the concrete at the pavillion and a gas pole hole digger (8"). Rod the park guy said if we frame the last 5 tee pads he will try and get them poured. Sounds like a hell of a deal to me. Sooo we have 35 pin placements to put in, 18 4x4 poles for the signs (signs are not yet attached) and 5 tee pad frames to build.
We need wheel barrows and/or plastic mixing things, shovels and workers. If we get this done Sunday, it may be playable by next week sometime.
Unless it just you and me working.

I have 54- 80 lb bags of crete and 18- 12' 4x4's waiting for pick up at Lowe's Sunday am. If we frame the five tee pads the city will pour them, just got that OK'd. It should be good to go in a couple of weeks.

The pins are Mach-3's I believe. They also have tabs on them and are ready for placement.

I would like to thank all those who came out today and helped put in the course. If the city can pour the last 4 tee pads this course should be ready to go shortly after that. I will have adult beverages for those who have helped the last couple of weeks with Hiawatha and Legion on Sunday after the Legion tourney is over.
