Random SC Questions.

Postby 10up » Mon Nov 06, 2006 1:02 pm

1. How can I improve my distance during the winter without being outside?

2. What is your favorite color?

3. Could Clue's relationship with Fausch be considered unhealthy, and, at any time in the past, even illegal?

Thanks in advance.

How can you not improve?

2. What is your favorite color?

I really shouldn't play favorites, but the red that Clue's face gets after double-digit Shiners is pretty cool.

Thanks in advance.

You're welcome.

I had a sandwich from the Brickhouse (I think that was what it was called) Saturday. I liked it so much, I went back after the second round at ISU to get some to take home. Is that the best barbecue/smoked meat place in Ames?

Des Moines needs a place like that. Badly. I miss Jim's Rib Haven SO much.

Not only have I not tried it, I've never heard of it. Where is it?

I've always liked Battles BBQ in Campustown but I'll try Brickhouse ASAP.

right next to the keg shop. I'm guessing they sell beer there.

It's just up from Es Tas, where we ate last time we went to play CM and ISU. You might remember the story from that trip--about the bartender not knowing how to make a margarita and Dan almost getting us kicked out for asking them to turn the channel to the IA game?

I was with Joe T. and he mentioned Battles, now that you mention it. He asked which one I wanted, I let him choose. We went to the other place. You can smell it a block away.mmmmmmmmmm

Battle's is right next to the Keg Shop. I wonder if they have renamed it since George Battle passed away last year.

HA!

That was funny... My part was completely innocent until that little b**** decided she didn't want to have a sense of humor... Then, when Tanner heard her talking about us, she got all embarassed like she was caught, but he didn't actually hear what she said. Then the dumb s*** goes, "I'm sorry I called you guys douchbags". We were like... yeah uh huh.

Still have to thank Greenleaf for taking care of that lunch for everybody. I wasn't going to pay anyways, I'm glad she swiped his card.

It was Battle's. The other place I recommended was Hickory Park, but it was kind of out of the way compared to Battle's. Both places have their pro's and con's.

Hickory Park is pretty good for mass-produced BBQ.

I haven't found a bad point about Battles.
