SS ESP Avenger

Postby AO » Wed Jan 24, 2007 10:48 am

I am going to throw this disc tomorrow. I think the Avenger and SS Avenger will compliment the Teebird and TL but will have a longer flight.

Is the SS Avenger just a slightly less stable version of the Avenger?

How and why then do you work your way to this page?

The inside part of the rim is almost flat, making the flight straighter, compared to the original Avenger which is very similar to a predator and is more concave making it more overstable.

Looking for random thread drift opportunities.

Actually, I am not averse to Discraft. I used to throw it almost exclusively. There are so many discs to choose from now, and so many overlapping designs, that it is easy to get too much stuff to keep track of. My current strategy to manage this is to stick with one brand. I'm sure I'm missing something, but I don't have the time for much experimentation. It's still interesting to read the comments.

Irban, I do the same thing... I keep an eye on the discraft stuff through friends, but not personally...

I look for shots I'm lacking and then find a disc that will do what I want. I use a stratus, and predator....looking at using magnets too...ala AO, Rico, Timmy Gill etc....
If it kills, I got news, it ain't a side effect

Hmmm, since I'm lacking almost every shot, perhaps my strategy should be to change my whole bag. Or switch sports.

I did used to love my Magnet. Maybe I will try one again.

Love this disc. Flies like a faster sidewinder or a beat in X Avenger. Great for turnovers.

Faster Sidewinder or beat in X Avenger? Sounds like a good disc! If I'm throwing Beasts & Wraiths, will I need this disc though? I throw my pro beast or pro Wraith for most drives... want more stability, throw the champ beast. If I want understable big time, I throw the star beast... where would this ESP Avenger-.5 wind up in my lineup?
