The flick is definitely in between these two discs. I have been throwing an Xcal to test it for forehand and it flips flat and goes straight for a long time. The Flick does not do this, in my opinion. It will keep a RHFH hyzer line if thrown flat. I like forcing anny on it, very consistent S that way since the disc is so shallow. Definitely more beefy than an Xcal. Has potential for the same distance but needs more air to do so.

Is your Xcal Star or Champ? I am just guessing star.

Well said. The Flick is beefy, fast, but doesn't have a lot of glide. I too like to force it over and trust that it will hyzer back. I've tried flicking a lot of different discs and the Flick just works best for me. I know a lot of guys who also use the Flick for thumbers. When looking for a Flick make sure it is flat. If you get them with a little dome on them they do not serve there purpose and have less stability.

He might be able to, but he'll have to throw both of them to convince me

Looks like you and Dodds could start the "Des Moines Self Sponsored Discraft Team"

I think you are right that it was classified as an overstable driver...but I use it as a midrange

And Corey...who the hell is Dodds? Also Corey...laugh all you want...but that is the setup that I used at the DSM Open back in August(No nuke of course)...and I am pretty sure it worked out pretty good then.

Yeah I picked one up prolly a month after I started playing, could only throw it it 300 ft max so I know where you were coming from

Anub, MDR could prove any of us wrong - w/ nearly any disc in his hand! Ur in the QCs now, right? Hook up w/ him this spring for a round. I'm sure you'll be able to learn a thing or two.
