TORQUE ESP

Postby Abe Froman » Sat Oct 28, 2006 8:25 pm

love at first sight. went right in the bag, and its staying in the bag. feels great, excellent stability, very predictable, good distance for a midrange. i've only thrown it 1 day and its already won me $50. i can smell an ace coming off this baby, just you wait...........thanks AO

The Torque wasn't that impressive anyway. I threw one a couple of times and it was ok, but you could get an esp buzzz and have it be almost the same disc.

You were ranting and raving about it at Big Creek, saying how you wanted to get one. I'm getting another one just to be safe. Inconsisntant or not it flys great for me. :D Does it get more use than my Buzzz? No. But for a tight fairway, the Torq is money. I haven't thrown the Torque yet. :D

I think that they are the same, they just changed the spelling on the stamp after the first run---which you got at USADGC. I'd hang onto that one, it might be worth a little more than $6.50.

Yeah, the words "Instant collectable" and "Discraft" really dont go well together. Considering you can get a unused 1st Run Z Buzz for under 60$, or a 2nd Run 1st Run Buzz for less than $40, or a Purple Proto Magnet for under $30, Id think the Torque would fall into the 20-30$ price range. New...and if you have "sucker" stamped on your forehead.

I, however, at times do have "sucker" stamped on my forehead, so dont be suprised if I bid on one.

I just want to get an extra Torque in case I lose the one I have. The disc is money. I'm going to get one while the gettin is still cheap.

I will admit that at first I thought it was a pretty good flyer, but then I started thinking about it and it was really no differen than a Pro D Buzzz flight wise.

Mine flies like a faster, farther more overstable Buzz. We'll see how if flies after a month of use.
