FLX Challengers

Postby AO » Wed May 02, 2007 1:51 pm

Just got them today and putted in my yard. The plastic feels like a Juju putter but in Challenger form. This disc is a tank and sticks nicely in the basket. Will be back after playing around and will let you know how it went. Might play this weekend at Hickory with it. tbc

one of the discraft videos - I think it was a clinic they had at Bowling Green - showed a picture of the FLX Challenger and it said "Available May 2007", so hopefully it will be out sometime this month to general availability as promised!

I got one at BG and it is pretty nice. Very overstable off the tee (for a putter).

From Discraft
"I'm not impressed with aces of any kind. 95% of the time, they're just bad shots that got lucky and happened to hit the chains. Otherwise, they'd have sailed 50' past the hole." ~ Cydisc

(1) try shane first, (2)Sheel;s doesn't have them - I'll have to get a barcode in the system before I can request them. But (3) discsunlimited.com is a big wholesaler, I bet they'll have them as well.

i picked up a 172 gram orange flx challenger. it was my first round with it but i really like it. i've been using a rhyno pro(soft) this year but am gonna scrap the rhyno a stick with the flx challenger. It's great approaching because it doesn't turn too much and it's solid on putts but it did slip through the chains acouple times 'cause it's kinda slick.

Clay and I have been throwing the FLX Challenger some and both agree it is very straight but the disc comes out fast and almost glides like a mid. May be staying in the bag over a beat in D Challenger.

I really like this disc for approaches. Hit an ace with it during the first round I used it. It feels like butter in the hand and is very straight with a lot of glide.

You gave me a FLX Surge not a challenger.
