SAT 2008

Postby SpikeHyzer » Sat Nov 29, 2008 8:37 pm

I just wanted to thank everybody who made the trip out today to play. We had 15 for singles and 11 for doubles. Thanks to the guys from Ottumwa who made the long trek up for the rounds today. Hope you guys made it back ok. I think we experienced sun, rain, sleet and snow through out the day today. Congrats to all those that won either disc's or cash or both today.

It was kind the round in Boone on Saturday. Joe hit it right on the nuts that we played through all elements there. Playin Boone in the slush, raing, and snow was quite the challenge. Still fun none the less. Good preperation for winter golf.

Fausch, Tyler, and I were in the same group at Carrol Marty Saturday. We were all shooting pretty bad. Fausch was already getting pissed. I'm not sure what hole it was but Fausch had an arid drive. And that's when he made the comment. I had the priveledge of hearing many of these comments over the weekend.

what's an arid drive? This word, it does not mean what I think you think it means.

couldn't you just say "Fausch threw"? I think the rest can be assumed...

In other news, playing in snow, sleet, and slush, below freezing is now apparently considered "preparation" for winter golf, rather than just "winter golf".
