Wednesday Mini

Postby discgolfduval » Tue Apr 17, 2007 1:02 pm

After a suggestion from Tannerkin, I am now posting all Wednesday Mini info under this topic. We will play the mini at Ewing tomorrow beginning at 5:30. Anybody is welcome. This is traditionally a one division format but if there are enough people to make a "less competetive" division, we can make arrangements.

Now we're talking, we may set an attendance record! I think the previous record is 7???

The mini will be at Walnut Ridge for the next 2 weeks. It will start promptly at 5:45. Be there a little before obviously.

So right now, I would put my chances of running the mini tonight at 5%. Along with having a rule of not playing below 40 degrees, I am also making another rule of not playing while it is busy raining 40 inches....It's like we're living in the friggin rainforest or something.

How many people were there last Wedn.? Had to be a record. Leaving while watching a swarm of people head into the park was the most difficult thing I have ever done (aside from putting at Lamoni Sund. afternoon)
NO!......Welp!?

Yeah, we had 11 people last week which is darn good by mini standards. If anyone wants to brave it out tonight, let me know and I may be game if we can get just get a little break in the rain.

I'd be up for a game time decision, although I don't see it getting much better.

HAHA, good one there B-man, what a pathetic bullpen...the sad thing is if you guys can get even close to 500, you'll have a shot at the division cause we all know the cardinals are terrible as well this year

I think the weather may be taking a turn for the better (like the Cubs will do tonight). If it's not raining, or even sprinkling, I am definately down. I plan on heading out about 4:30. The park is only 10 mins from my house, so if no one shows, I don't have far to go. Ohterwise I will be there. As long as it's not lighting in front of my face, I am all in.

Ryan Dempster is putting up tremendous stats, you take away the HR that he gave up to the cards, he has been perfect. Look at the stats; he would have more saves if they could get to him.
