Rain doesn't hold up league it's severe weather. Lightning is a must. The club doesn't want that responsibility.
Are you ready for the Challenge?

League went for about 15 years without one cancellation. Then a few years ago we had 3 I think, all due to lightning. Was it because of the switch to Tuesday from Monday? Or was that before?

$20 league money to the winning doubles team Shane? :o

Any time the stipulated course is unplayable we will play that night at Grandview.

Example, Water Works will not be playable next week. It’s freak’n under water. Both singles and doubles will be at Grand view the week of 5-14.

Don’t forget. It’s triples night at Big Creek. I have always wanted to walk off that course with a good looking score.

Even if I have little to do with it.

That is my understanding. You never know though, Vic might decide to throw in some semi-confusing twist.

Hey everybody. The standings are available here now. Go to the main page and click on leagues, check out the DSM disc golf club and there you have it. :)

Water Works isn’t pretty but it is playable. It took quite a beating from this weekend’s storms so there is a lot of small crap in the way and some stuff that is very large. Everyone need to thank Vic and Rubel for clearing tee pads and pulling brush.

Do Not try and take the back road to the lot in the middle of the park, unless you’d like to leave muffler behind.

See you all tonight.

So we're playing at WW tonight?

pants recommended? waders, nose guards, masks, bug spray, all water on the course casual except the river?

Seriously, is it very muddy, or is the grass like a foot tall?

The grass is long in spots but not out of hand.
There is casual water in the middle of #1 and right by the pin on #7.
Just don’t wear your church shoes as it is muddy in a few places.
The bugs were not bad at all last night.

I will be out there by 5:00 pulling tree limbs around if anyone can help and Rod is bringing a saw out by a little after 5 to take care of some of the really bad stuff.

Oh yea, #2 and #8 tees are completely covered in dirt/mud and will probably remain that way at least for tonight.

I'll throw a flat ended shovel in the car to scrape off the dirt covered tees.

All I can say is don’t plan on showing up 10 minuets early and expect to get them done. #13 took Vic and Rod 20 or 30 min. and they didn’t even clean the entire pad. It was the worst with about 8 inches of shit on it but 2 & 8 didn’t look like they would be easy.
