Crivaro situation

Postby actifed » Tue Feb 20, 2007 4:24 pm

Just so everyone knows, all of the baskets at Crivaro have been pulled leaving only the poles. The city is doing this until they can better secure the baskets.
If anyone has more info or updates please post them here. I know a lot of us are really enamored with the little course. We'll be working hard to get it back up and running!

I talked to the P&R yesterday about when the baskets will be returning and...

"I hope to have him start installing them with the signs late next week when the snow melts away. I'm sure there are people wanting to get back out to this park and start playing."

Yes, you heard it right, the baskets will now have number plates! A P&R carpenter has also been working on modifying the equipment to make it more burglar-proof. My hope is that people will have a bit more self-respect and respect for the P&R's commitment to disc golf in DSM by leaving the equipment alone. It is out there for everyone to enjoy!

If you see or hear about the two stolen baskets please let the club know...Latch
Happy Discing!
