I walked all 12 holes and took pictures off each tee. Since it's kinda long I posted everything on my blog. I really wanted to do it so we could have a before and after record. I spoke with Gary and Jeremy and they tell me the plan is to start installing the posts for the baskets next week. It's really starting to come together.

Check out the progress at the site below..

Walking the course, it comes out to just under a mile...that's one big johnson.

Nice Blog Matt, Thanks for the kind words.

Friday night will be the last night for pouring the pads. We are planing on pouring 3 yards at 1:30 and the last pour is only 2 1/2 yard at 4:00. This weekend I will do some modifying on the Sleve that gets muded in the ground (putting a drain pipe on the end so if water does get in in the winter, it will drain out before swelling the pipe) and making a locking sleve for the one basket that didn't come with one. Monday we will take off alittle early to drill 13 holes and pour all of them. I am also hoping on stripping more forms Saturday and hoping on doing some back filling also.

The way things are going lets hope that the baskets will be in on Friday. We are trying to get the city to donate 12 sign post for our sign (the square tubing post) if not we will have to drill 12 more holes for the signs. But dont expect to see the signs for a week or two.

Warning' on hole four, we are going to have to build a bridge to cross the creek, so for now everyone will have to jump the creek (about 3 1/2 to 4 foot across. Jason (the ghost) has submited a request for a grant and we believe we have a good chance, if not, ???????? Im still working on that...

I think Cy is hanging with us on this one, trying to make cheap sleazy dick jokes instead of offering constructive comments.

Cy's cool. He was observing the basketball, pool, etc - and thought it might be a little tight. It's "just right" though w/ 12! :D

As of 5:30pm today all the pads are poured. It was some cold work today! That wind was fierce! I'm guessing we'll have baskets up in a week or two. But after that there is still a lot of work to do. Benches need to be installed, signs put up, and I guess a bridge needs to be built.

One other thing that needs to be done is some trash removal from the creek. Maybe it would be a great way to express our thanks to the city leaders that approved this course if we could organize a dozen or so disc golfers to spend an evening doing some clean up. We would look like saints compared to the skateboarders

Here's a picture of the crew...

That is a great idea Matt, I could put on my mud boots and walk in the creek and throw junk up and others could put it in a dump truck. What are you thinking time wise? Is there anyone else that could help??????
