Sunday Mini

Scott had the hot round with a 57. We did have to play the short pad on hole #1 becasue of all the people sledding. The only disc that was lost was my wraith on hole #6. I threw it in the prairie grass to the left, where it is very difficult to find where the disc went in. I threw it in the same area the first time we played the hole, and we spent about ten minutes looking for it. Other than those two times, we did not have much trouble finding discs. Meghan was throwing from the incline on #7 and almost took a spill, that was the closest we came to any casualties. Mikal was the other attendee. Other than the snow it was a great round; minimal winds, decent temperature, and good disc golf. I'd do it again with out a doubt. :D

I've gotten my share of snow rounds in. Trust me. Yesterday was just a bad day, since I spent Saturday gambling down at RR playing pool all afternoon.

Thanks Clue and 10up for help with the food and bev tab, by the way. Josh picked it up, since he had all your money.

Scott, Steve, blow me.

I once played every Sunday all the way through, and that was before all this El Nino and global warming stuff. We used to play Margo in a foot of snow with 30mph winds out of the northwest. Hole 2 was always the best in those conditions. Did I mention that every hole was uphill in both directions?

That pool round was an epic disaster. I was on tilt still from the night before when I showed up. I'm glad I blew up there before I went to work. I rebounded pretty nicely at PM.

It is my recomendation not to have this today, just my reccomendation, being that there is a winter chill advisary, and from playing the Ice Bowl yesterday, if it is any colder than that I might freeze. However if someone tells me otherwise that this is a go I might be there.

With a current temp of 0 and a wind chill of -18, we will go without a mini this week. See you next week at GV.

ya, we all know the real reason---you're icing down Megan's hand. I'd hate to see what that looks like today. :?
