This should be postponed.

Your right Jon. Its a important meeting and people need to wake up and realize that. Its more important than playing Camden, especially considering the amount of bitching I hear on a weekly basis out there.

Do the right thing for your disc golf community. Skip leagues and show up at the meeting.

SKIP LEAGUES.

We could always go play some glow after the meeting tonight if anyone is down. But I agree with you Chase anyone that goes to that league tonight that is a past or present member, should be beat to with in a inch of there lives tonight, or have no bitchs or complants ever about the club again.

Unfortunately, this is something that should have been brought up before today.

I was under the impression that tonight's meeting is simply to nominate people for positions they are interested in. We're not revamping the constitution, or electing officers tonight. Tonight's going to be pretty informational from what I gather. We'll talk about what's on the plate for the upcoming months in the quad cities. I thought because tuesdays were bad for a majority of the golfers that much of the discussion as to what all the MEMBERs think should happen with the club going forward should be reserved until there are officers in place and when more golfers can go. Let's not waste everyones time talking about stuff that new officers may see fit to change (leadership structure, spending habits, calendar, new committees, etc). If you've got nominations, you'd better start making phone calls to K.C. or Chad Hein.

I don't see any reason why we need to make Paul mad and tell people not to go to leagues. If you've made your nominations known to K.C. or Chad Hein, I say go to leagues and enjoy. It's only going to be nice for so much longer.

Just my two cents (and trying to smooth over any hard feelings about ditching leagues)...

There shouldnt be hard feelings from anyone about ditching leagues. Its not like theres competition for points or that this is the last week of Camden league.

Id rather go to leagues myself. I just think there needs to be a strong presence at ANY club meeting. They ARE more important that a weekly league.

I am going to practice multitasking and do both. I might be a few minutes late to the meeting, sorry.

No, 5:15 tonight, 5:00 next week, then I am going to take a week off and then start sundays after the Dispatch/Argus tournament. I am just going to get leagues going tonight then head for the meeting.
