Do you recomend this course?

Do you recomend this course?

Postby Conrad 37988 » Tue Jul 01, 2008 8:24 pm

My friends and I are thinking about playing the 2 courses in North Liberty this weekend. Since there are no post for this course and a bunch for the other. The question begs "Is McBride worth our time?"

The last time I was there (within the last year) most of the "boxes" were still there but in need of major restoration.
They cleared out all the thick bush area along #1 and #2 fairways next to the road. It looked like they were going to do some work to the course but....

With a little redesign, trimming and maybe some extra land use in the timber by #7 & #8, this could be made into a halfway playable nine holer for recs.
