Steve, we'd probably go down Saturday night. I can find a place to stay I'm sure. I'm kinda hoping AO is going and wants to pick me up on the way.

Yeah, it's by the nascar track.

i remember playing that course when we went down to the kc open like 5 years ago when it was brand new, still didn't have poured pads at that point. but was a great course. those pond shots were killer. would go back again.

I don't remember any ponds, except the ones made with rope.

I'm not the biggest fan of this course but I wanna play some golf, if there isn't snow on the ground.

El Dorado! I played with Steve Wisecup there one year and he shot -15. Anthon shot -14 in the same round. Neither of them won. There's some talent out there.

There's one pond on the course. Shouldn't be a factor, unless you throw your tee shot too far (hole #14)

We've got some snow flurries flying in KC today, but no snow on the ground, and we're not expecting any to stick today.

We do have 40 preregistered already for the event, and the field is limited to 90 players, so the earlier you register, the better. If you wait until the day of the event to register, you may not get in. Of course, you're used to that in Iowa. The course is long enough already, we won't be adding holes, and I'm 98% sure there won't be any yellow rope this time. For more info, visit www.kcfdc.org

Yep. Registration filled up FAST yesterday. I think some people were waiting to see about the weather. It's supposed to be 60 degrees Sunday. Of course, the way this year's going, that means it will be 35 degrees and pouring rain.

Call Kevin Montgomery at 816-830-0974 if you want to get on the waiting list. It had 6 names on it as of 8AM this morning.
