I've been wondering about this. My assumption has been that the performance flight will be the early tee times while the open flight will all be later. They've always leaned toward the best players getting later tee times so I assume that will not change. I'm really looking forward to this as well. While I wish I could be a little more competitive with the big boys, I'm perfectly happy playing the performance flight. It's kind of like playing Pickard. If I shoot 51 out there I don't really care if it's against Fausch on some random evening, at a night of Bushwhackers, or at the Challenge. I'm gonna enjoy playing well at a great course no matter what the conditions are.

From DGCR:
"
Also the new tee on #18 (a big dock about 40-50' further back from than the traditional land tee)
"

Wow.

I've got an 8am tee time for "Spectator Day" Sunday Oct 7. I can't decide whether to play for score or play for fun.

Should make the hole play better. That tree was big and made the driver super difficult.
If it kills, I got news, it ain't a side effect

That tee shot (from the concrete tee) was way worse before they cut all the low branches. You used to prettymuch *have* to anhyzer out over the water on your tee shot.

And the tree on top of the hill is a mando to the left. Course looks great! 17 is in the middle placement with less of a bailout on the right. Also top field won't even make 72. Looks like 58 participants.
