Congrats to all the winners! Great tourney! I would have liked to have seen Blake F tear it up. Unfortunately, I was several cards away...

Thanks! And again, thanks to everyone that worked on the course or helped with the event so I could play. It actually means more to me than anyone thinks. Camden is the course I learned to play on. Thanks.

Just to answer a few questions I overheard after the event:

The payout to Ams wasnt as strong as usual for 2 reasons.

1. The lower entry fee. I said early on most of the local events are going to have lower entry fees. With lower entry fees comes less depth and bulk in payout....but its also a cheaper day.

2. The player package. You were given a player pack that was valued at 14$, you only paid $8 for it. So in other words, if you played REC ( which is where I heard the grumblings ) your enrty fee was $15. $2 went to the PDGA right off the top, then $8 for your player pack. So, in reality only $5 of your money actually went to payout.

You can rarely have your cake and eat it too. If you want the typical bigger payouts we do, entries need to be higher, but higher fees arent bringing new faces. I may end up adjusting some of the prices, but seriously. You paid in $5 what did you really expect to get back?

No, the ratings will be adjusted. I think its reading from an old layout and should be reading a new one. It was probably my fault, but I am working on it now.
