not a lot of holes to throw that on. It's kind of a finesse course, like a mini wildcat, but 42 holes...wish you were going Duden...

Website says

"The course is ideal for pull carts due to the groomed fairways. "

How true of a statement is this? Rimmy was telling me there is a fair bit of elevation on the temp course. I tried rigging up an old pull cart last night and it only lasted 1 hole. I am just wondering if this is a project I should complete before this weekend.

yeah you can't go wrong with a pull cart there, but it's not necessary. I thought the course took little exertion, compared to say Wildcat.

I went and walk about half the course this evening. Jay is right a mini Wildcat or more like Rosedale Down Under with all the rocks and elevation changes and shortness of the holes. The guys I worked with here in Wisconsin warned me about the black bears in the area, but no concerns with all the people that will be in the area.

I plan to use my pull cart on this course, the elevation changes are not dynamic.

I am excited to play the tournament, glad I had to be up here for work and have the weekend free and the fact some of the other BW's are showing up.

... to those coming for the first time ... FYI ... Randy the TD always has several kegs from local micro brewery (Central Waters) for the players ... $5 for all you can drink !!!! BOTH DAYS !!!! yes it is true !!!! the only problem is driving back to the hotel or home on Sunday ... Kegs are popped Saturday afternoon ... oh ya we also had live music last year ... some local slam grass ... it was good !!!!

both courses this year are 21 holes ... Saturday will be a long day ... but a fun day ! a pull cart does come in handy ....

it is hard to compare these 2 different 21 hole courses to others ... it is unique IMO ... a special place that feels like no other ... can't wait !!!

I never play in doubles ... but from what I can remember they use the west course for doubles ... I think? The courses are named East and West ... West is the temp course which is longer than the east course ...
