And probably 75% didn't even play the tournament.

I'm 100% in favor of it.

Hole 12 at Ewing would play great with stroke and distance

....... so would hole 7 at Walnut, 8 and 16 (long grass) at Big Creek, and a plethora of holes at Pickard ...... I get all excited just thinking about all the possibilities :D

I absolutely love it. When I started playing disc after golfing all my life, i played my first league and threw OB. I was told that you can just go up to where it went out and throw (basically) from there. I was in complete shock and asked if this was the same for tournaments and was told yes. I just couldnt believe it. I am 110% in favor of it for all tournaments.

Hole 18 makes the least sense to me. If you just have OB on the right and use the trees as a natural bunker it makes sense. Having both be ob, I think stroke and distance is too much.

Yet there were still 2 (-12) 56's. I don't think anything needs opened up. Spots like 18 are only punishing if you're playing for birdie. If you play for par it's mid, putter, putter without much risk. Holes 10 and 13 are a little skinny off the tee, but you have the option of only throwing 100 ft off the tee and still making par. On 10 you could still make birdie.

I don't get this, or I just completely disagree. Maybe with a different mowing configuration.

Yeah if the "fairway" was moved over and in line with the tee pad and basket I could see it.

Don't get ahead of yourself ..... its just something I think is a cool concept ...... I didn't say if the Club or those running the aforementioned events do
