I don't have to line the pockets of a mediocre TD to play BRP. Just sayin'

So I heard they made some changes to the course? In your opinion do they make the course better? or not?

Changes? Hmmmm.... other than a kick ass patio added on to the beer hut...added another cute girl to work the beer hut. I don't know. That place changes for the better every month I make the trip up there.

Ray also plans on adding a burger/hot dog/finger food joint on the property so they can sell stronger beer.

What more can I say about the place?

Speaking of BRP......Just spoke to Rusty this morning. That's too bad you guys aren't making it up for BRP. Spam town was a cool course when I was there a few years ago....can't tell you what it looks like after last years tornado. I can tell you that the people down in that area told me that there are a ton of trees that are gone that used to be there.

Last I played it was the majestic last year, so I saw the hut as it was being finished... I love that place tho. I think the plan now is to get up there the week or 2 after the Mid america open..unless everyone decides to go up there this weekend. All I know is im not gonna keep putting it off if someone's kid has another baseball tourney  And he can be as salty as he wants if he cant go when we do

lol....yeah. Todd park is cool ( again, no idea what it looks like since the tornado last year ), but it sure ain't no BRP. Looks like it's todd park this weekend for you guys. At least that's where Rusty said he was going. Not sure I can make it. It's at least 2 hours away from me. It was going to be easier if you guys came up to the TC to hang out but that might just be too much travel time to work around my other stuff I have going on this weekend.

Yeah Rusty can make his own plans....He seems to think BRP was his idea when Ive brought it up for almost a year now  Then again all good ideas are his, and we just have to make time for him  Just wait and see the fuss he makes when we go to BRP one weekend when he has something else to do....

Have they turned the hay bale hole into a true island green yet? He said he planned on doing it and was just wondering if it had happened or not...

It hasn't happened yet. I talked to him this weekend and he said that he had a guy that does this stuff and when they had the plans drawn out and he saw the cost, he wasn't going to do it because it was way to expensive. I think he said he's going to do it anyway, but I don't know when it will be done.

I was thinking about the changes you were asking about. Hole 26 now has a 3 tier t-pad ( 26 is the hyzer hole where you used to be able to go the back route over the sod field ) and hole 8 has a better area to walk around the pond. They may have spruced up a couple of t-pads to since last year. Was the deck there when you went? I don't know man, it's always improving. You could go there once a month and notice something a little different that's been worked on.

Tyler has a DVD I borrowed from the Clash series. Nikko and Cale Vs. Barry and Kenny. I have never seen a course like this and everytime I watch it I want to drive 4 hours and play. Havent made it there yet but maybe this weekend if I am lucky. If you havnt seen that DVD watch it!
