I have started to upload registered players. We are anticipating 4 pools of 72 players. This event is going to be sweet!

Added cash to MPO is up to $2500. We set a goal of $3000 and it looks like we'll be very close.

OS #2 DISContinuum Presents The Illiana Open A-Tier
It will be a USDGC (www.usdgc.com) qualifier for the best finishing Illinois player in the MPO division.
This is for 1 spot only.
The player must be a resident of Illinois.

Correct! IL USDGC Qualifier at the Illiana Open.

I thought about putting the spot on Ebay to see what kind of sponsorship $ that would bring in but that might start some serious shit.

In all seriousness there was some thought to the process.

I considered Peoria. If Dana was still running the GPO I would have left it the same this year. The past SC and TD of the GPO never utilized the spot when he was in charge of it.

I considered Hamilton until I found out it was not going to take place as an A-Tier.

I also considered several other B-Tiers in the state. Springfield as a 2 day was high on my list.

When it came down to it I am highly involved with the Illiana Open. If a plyer from IL wants the spot they will show up wherever and wherever. There will be just as many IL pros at that event as any other in IL.

I would have even considered the RCR but had no idea it was going to be run as an A-Tier.

The tournament is in Indiana, probably the best one they will have all year with the consideration of Worlds. Why isnt thier exemption spot being used there?

What does your involvement with the event have anything to do with an Illinois exemption being handed out on a Indiana course?

#1. I asked the IN SC if he was interested in using the IN SC exemption but they use a series of events.

#2. It's my choice of where, when, and how to use this spot. I'll be in IN that weekend at a premier event. Most IL pros will be there an anyone wanting the spot will be too.
