Looking forward to RCR. Should be another good one. I did notice the PDGA approved Oswego,IL (B-Tier) the same weekend and the RCR (A-tier).

http://www.pdga.com/files/documents/TourStandards.pdf
Table 5 says 200 miles betweeen A tier and B tier. Mapquest distance betweeen Oswego (B) and Davenport (A) is 136 miles and googlemaps is 133 miles http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Davenpo ... 02&2v=CITY

Emailed the PDGA.

Nice work AO. All the non-QC Illini need to not be skeered.

Karolyn responded to my 1st email about the miles between tournies. She has not responded to my 2nd email asking why a B tier and A tier 133 miles apart was approved. I've also posted on the discontinuum web page. Brett said missed the conflicting events.

That's just fucked. Illinois should be supporting this event.

Yeah but you he still has to approve B and C tiers based on the PDGA rules ...... meaning mileage from an A-Tier regardless if it’s his responsibility or not.

He approved it before the Rumble was on the PDGA schedule. Plus, the PDGA sends out a list of dates for NT's & A-tiers over the winter & RCR wasn't on the list.

Somebody send a check for a C tier somewhere between those 2 and see if it gets approved.

The deadline for A-Tier submission was Dec 1st and the RCR was not on the 2010 PDGA Major Events Schedule sent to all state coordinators. In late January the Illinois Tour was posted. The Oswego event has been listed on PDGA.com since early February. I'm not sure when RCR was submitted to the PDGA.

I want both events to be successful. I did what i'm supposed to do as the state coordinator and hope thic can be resolved. It's in the PDGA's hands now. Not having the info to the PDGA by Dec 1st has put them in a sticky situation.

I'm hoping for Camden II and Middle on Saturday and one round of West Lake on Sunday.
