so Mathias showed up and played rec? lmao, you guys should've strung 'em up for extra obstacles on hole 7 or something--like Tom's skeleton's last year. Nothin' beats a good hangin'.

Thanks to Carls Club and B & B Hardware for running Camden Chaos.

Personally, I dont think theres anything wrong with anyone tying me from any division. I played poorly, and with the way the course was set-up, anything can happen. Id hate to think someone was out there cheating. We , as disc golfers, take pride in policing ourselves- Its sad when someone cant play by thier honor.

Really, I dont think it matters much as the course was pretty pussied out for the second round. No OBs and changing the way holes are played is pretty bunk, especially when the hole designers arent even told about it.

How was 18 supposed to be played? I counted all 3 throws from the white it took me to get into the ring plus the 2 putts for a 5. I was told later that you get 5 tries from the white and only start counting after you make one in the ring.

I also think that CTP on that hole should have only counted if you make in the ring on your first throw ... but that's just me.

first of all that picture looks a lot like you and second of all you had to count the strokes you took from the tee as well. The ctp was for the first shot only.

That's what I thought. Thanks.

I know that's not how the hole was played by others.

I now I'm new to this and that I have no idea how much work goes into putting something like this together, but I think a hole-by-hole rule sheet for each group would have been majorly helpful.

Putting my money where my mouth is ... I'm volunteering to do that next year the morning of the tourney if the powers that be want me to.

Throw one, miss. You are now throwing 3. Miss again. Now your on 5.....ect.

If you dont land in the ring, your OB, and take a penalty stroke. Repeat as many times as needed, or until you throw four non-glowing discs at the same time and announce, "F#ck it! I quit! "

I thought Reed did a good job of asking everyone if they understood and allowing each hole builder to announce OBs and what not.

Unfortuantly, I guess not everyone understands the rules or how to play by them. ( Im not talking to you Brad, just in general )

I'll readily admit that I didn't understand all the rules. I did leave the pavillion thinking I understood all the rules, but everybody in my group left with a different understanding of the rules. Multiply that by all the groups and it's easy to see how things got out of hand on some holes.

That was my first tourney, I learned a lot and I had a blast doing it. It could have been raining buckets, 20 degrees colder and my score could have double what it was and I'd still be psyched about next year. I'm already thinking of things I can do to some holes ...

I think the blocking of baskets with objects is just getting a little excessive in the last couple of years. I can see decorating the holes and covering part of the chains, but not covering the whole basket like about 5 or 6 baskets had. Maybe I am just aggravated that everytime I turned around I didn't have a putt because the basket was covered. And 4 was kind of rediculous as well. I could see have either the balls in the basket or having the chains strapped up. But not both at the same time. These are just some of the feelings that I wanted to express and I know that it will just be the same way next year anyway.

I missed birdie putts on 4 and 5 both rounds. I saw others make the EXACT same putt to save Par. Its tough, but thats life. I liked both.

The only one I didnt like was 8, ONLY because it didnt leave any options other than the front, and the first 2 I got there was somewhat questionable. .. and 11. I like the tough to putt baskets, but shoving a bunch of broken, jagged sticks out at all angles wasnt exactly safe. I 2'd it both times, as I did 8, so neither are complaints because of how I played the hole.

On another note... Im disapointed Jeff didnt show up to do 18. I missed the hay bales and the ghost.

If I had more time and money, I would have liked to do the hole the exact same way as the previous years. I felt this years was lacking, and I apologize for the state it was in this year.
